Our dear Kelly Rowland who participated in the FIRST MTV AFRICA AWARDS got dissed one of the most widely read blogs called BOSSIP for performing at the Abuja based awards as opposed to the American music awards! The blog even compared Kelly against Beyonce as though one award was better than the other.

Would you believe BOSSIP is geared towards the African American Population? Well they could have fooled us with the comments below:

"Kelly Rowland attended and performed at the MTV Africa Music Awards in Nigeria. Poor thang couldn’t get a spot performing at the AMA’s in the U.S. like her Destiny’s Child band-mate, so she had to head all the way back to the motherland. It could always be worse…right?."

No BOSSIP it could not be worse! In fact it was the best, she was part of HISTORY! Readers what is your take on this? Perhaps naijagal readers can enlighten the writers over at bossip of Africa's bright future and the stupidity of their blog post! By the way her performance sure beats this!

I am so tired of hearing about Beyonce. Its just becoming very annoying. Honestly, if Kelly Rowland is promoted or publicized the way Beyonce is, i bet you that Kelly will be on the same level Bey is right now. I do visit Bossip, and is either she's hating on kim Kardashian or she's obsessed with Bey. She's always hating on the decent people like Sanaa Lathan or Gabrielle Union. So I'm not suprised at such ignorance or immaturity, like the statement she made about Kelly Rowland. What's wrong with Kelly Rowland performing in motherland? Black people always talking bad about each other. I'm African American by the way, but married to a Nigerian. It is time for African Americans, not all of them but the ignorant ones to put such foolishness behind them, and start embracing where their ancestors came from. Kelly Rowland performing in the motherland should even be more special than Bey on some award show tossing her lace front wig up and down,lol

They have two wonderful lovely daughters, J-dyl, three and J-ian, one.
