Nigerian President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua gave his daugther away in marriage to Bauchi state Governor Isa Yaguda; she is his fourth wife. They certainly look good together wouldn't you say?

shame on them all. she was given out to a man old enough to be her father, i dont know if this people value eduacation at all. she could at least marry some one not that old. shame

Anon, If she had a choice she probably would with all her Britsh educationa and exposure?

Sometimes we need to understand culture and religion. Its unfortunate but don't "shame on her."

Well congratulations to them. Yes, culture plays a big part in our everyday lives whether or not you have a degree/education. We just have to accept it and such things like this do not happen in the African Culture but the White man Culture too. “It Is What It Is” as the saying goes.

well for me it is not a sin for a man to marry a woman old to be his mother or a wonam to marry a man old enough to be her father wether educated or not as far as thier is love and mutual understanding, and if they also believe in what they are doing.

But the only thing that looks so owful to me is the way they do the wedding is too childish espeacially for the briged groom and his co friends.

I previously blogged about him here and here now If you notice frm some of his pictures he is wearing a ring. Well so it is ladies, he is married to a lovely lady called Adjoa. They have two wonderful lovely daughters, J-dyl, three and J-ian, one.
