BREAKING NEWS!! PICTURE THIS! THERE IS A FACE OF NIGERIA!! LAUNCHING IN 2009! AND WE HAVE THE CONTESTANT'S PICTURE!!

Wow this should be exciting in 2009!

Here is what we gathered about face of Nigeria:

"An industry benchmark has been set for excellence within the African beauty pageant market. Face of Nigeria Pageant (FON) is that benchmark.

Finally an all-encompassing definition of beauty is here.

In this new age, females of African descent are manifest in increasing numbers: Nigerian-born Agbani Darego is the first ever black African winner of the Miss World title in 2001, Omotola Ekeinde and Genevieve Nnaji are top actresses in Nigeria, renowned for both their thespian talent and their stunning looks.

These women represent the multiplicity that is the African female’s beauty and challenge stereotypical images of that beauty. From the array of hair styles, to the wide range of their brown-black skin tones, the African female form is being celebrated, as it should.

Next pageant, we are introducing Mr & Miss Face of Nigeria (FON) and our team at Face of Nigeria limited will champion this celebration of African female & Male beauty. The winners of the Pageant will find themselves very busy, acting as ambassadors for FON in promoting the AIDS awareness amongst others representing Nigerians, home and abroad. The king and Queen will be valued participant in this important campaign’s mission.

FON will also groom and train these ambassadors to endorse and highlight the positive attributes of Nigeria encompassing its cultural assets, commerce, and national pride."

Sounds fancy, well we will be watching, the girls are pretty or what do you say readers???
