" pandemonium broke out at Kirna Zabete, the posh Mecca of fabulous shopping in Soho. A shipment of forty dresses by emerging designer Duro Olowu arrived and there were eighty people on the wait list. Calls were made to every fashionista, socialite and celebrity and by the time the store opened at 11 a.m., a handful of credit card wielding, high-heeled, fur-wearing women were outside the glass door, waiting to hear the clicking sound of a door unlocking.
"Where are they?" asked one of the women, a stylist with tight brown ringlets and a large Luella handbag in tow, once inside. "The Duro dresses! I'm dying," she continued, fidgeting in her teal green Jimmy Choo patent leather pointy toe knee high boots."
