A Fairytale in Lagos: Inside the Star-Studded Wedding of Iyabo Ojo’s Daughter

This past weekend, Lagos witnessed nothing short of a real-life fairytale as Nollywood icon Iyabo Ojo gave her daughter Naijagal Priscilla Ojo to her King Juma Jux, the wedding of dreams. The air was thick with love, luxury, and serious Naija glam as the crème de la crème of entertainment, fashion, and society gathered to celebrate a love story that had everyone swooning.

We loved this! She had her own sound track!

Yes darlings this is what we call Epic!!

From the moment the traditional ceremony kicked off, it was clear this wasn’t just any wedding—it was a cultural spectacle. Adorned in stunning asọ-ebi, guests showed up and showed out in shades of royal blue and champagne gold, but it was the bride who stole the show. She floated in like a modern Yoruba princess, her outfit dripping in intricate beadwork, coral accents, and a radiant smile that could light up all of Lagos.

Iyabo Ojo, looking every inch the proud mama, was the picture of elegance. She didn’t just host a wedding—she curated an experience. From the décor that transformed the venue into a garden of ethereal florals, to the melodious fusion of traditional drummers and Afrobeats DJs, this was a wedding that honored roots while raising the bar.

And let’s talk about the guest list—star-studded doesn’t even begin to cover it. Influencers, movie stars, music royalty, and socialites mingled over champagne towers and five-star canapés. Every corner was selfie-ready, every moment worthy of the ’Gram.

The white wedding the next day? A whole cinematic production. The bride glowed in a dreamy white gown that hugged her in all the right places, while her groom looked dapper in a custom tux that screamed class. The vows? Emotional. The kiss? Movie-scene worthy. And when the couple hit the dance floor for their first dance, the room melted.

By the end of the weekend, one thing was clear: Iyabo Ojo didn’t just throw a wedding—she made history. It was love, culture, family, and finesse all rolled into one unforgettable celebration.

Lagos won’t forget this one anytime soon—and neither will we.

Congratulations to the beautiful couple, and big ups to Iyabo for reminding us how it’s DONE!
