It is the holiday season and you’re probably trying to decide, especially during this recession whether or not to get a new credit card or get one of those payday loans. Where I would definitely tread carefully especially when it comes the payday loans. The reason being, that while it sounds very exciting of very convenient to simply walk into a payday loan Center with your car title or pay stubs you need to know the risk involved in getting a payday loan.
According to Wikipedia “A payday loan (also called a paycheck advance) is a small, short-term loan that is intended to cover a borrower’s expenses until his or her next payday. The loans are also sometimes referred to as cash advances, though that term can also refer to cash provided against a prearranged line of credit such as a credit card (see cash advance). Legislation regarding payday loans varies widely between different countries and, within the USA, between different states”
Sounds easy doesn’t it? The main question comes in when you can’t pay that payday loan when your next payday comes along then what?  not only do these loans, with a high APR when you default you could end up paying 600% more than what you borrowed possibly! also be aware that you will become charged it transactional . apayday_loansFor example, a $100 one-week loan, at a 20% APR (compounded weekly) would generate only 38% of interest!!! so before you think about taking your paystub all your car title to the pay day loan center. Be very sure can pay back prior to the due date or skip  that gift that you planned to buy the season.
Now what if you have a credit card? Should you use  that card instead get an advance loan or should you apply for a new credit card? you should only apply for your credit card in my opinion if that credit card is offering you a 0% interest rate based on your credit. You can then transfer the balance on your current credit card to the new credit card and make sure you pay it off within the year. You already have  Major credit card debt, again I would advice you to pay cash for what ever your purchase.
So in essence, the question isn’t whether or not a payday loan is better than using a credit card or vice versa. The real question should be can you feel the loan prior to the due dates either way once you answer that question for you well on your way to financial independence from loans and or debt. What I your thoughts? what are you doing to be rich today?

This is a preview of posts to come under the new Naijagal.com

here are four ways in which you can essentially get some income from your blog. This could be extra income that you can use pay bill or the other end they are:

Advertising sales
The most common way in which bloggers and a little income is getting ads from Google adsense.this program is very easy to install all you need to do is to simply sign up for an AdSense account.you can then take the adsense code based on the keyword that matches the content on your blog. Next simply place the code within your blog pages. Now when I go into going into the details on how that is done, instead we will list different advertising programs for you to explore within your blog.

Some other advertising programs, we noticed some bloggers are currently making use of are WidgetBucks, text link and eminimalls. I've known bloggers who made use of linkworth.com. That (linkworth) might be another option to take a look at.

Affiliate Programs- this is another way to generate income on your blog. Their various affiliate programs you could join without spending any money. At affiliate program, simply gives you a link to place within your blog such that, whenever anyone goes from your blog to purchase the ite through that affiliate link, you receive a percentage of the sales. Here are four affiliate programs I recommend taking a look at: commission Junction, Amazon.com, link share and of course clickbank.  Now let me say something about click back, this program sells digital items or as many would say information products. Your task would be the send buyers their way; not sure how it works in detail, as I personally tried clickbank, I ended up losing a little bit of money but some people swear by it.

Digital products:
where on the topic of digital products or information products, certain bloggers go ahead and create their own information product a good example topic would be how to potentially quit your day job blogging. Now we have the good one for sale, I just might consider writing that e-book. All you need, as a word document saved as a PDF and that you can submit your e-book sites including click bank. You will then get affiliates to sign up to sell your digital product and that way they'll get a percentage of the sale but that they would find you buyers!

Finally, the fourth way to possibly generate income via your blog is to Flip blogs
you can create your blog and eventually sell the blog for a good amount of money. Flippa is a good example of location online where you can sell your blog. I love taking a look at Flippa.com and seeing what blogs are listed for sale. We notice lately, that a lot of people and been selling auto blogs. What are Autoblogs? They their blogs that automatically update daily with ads on them. Might be worth taking a look into. Now they got the steps to generating income from your blog, get started and that is know your feedback thanks again for sticking with us!

Interesting video wouldn't you say??

Interesting video wouldn't you say??

When will you marry: this year / next year / sometime forever'? I am at that age when getting married is supposed to be The Next Big Thing. Rumour has it that if you are unmarried at this age and you are not already planning your big day, there's something terribly wrong with you.

But if there's anything that's got something terribly wrong with it, it's this notion. And it hurts many single women. We need to put a stop to the pressure. We are young, beautiful, intelligent, virtuous, loving, generous, compassionate and most of all, happy... at least I am. As for me, I will get married one day and if I don't, well... I don't! My status should not define me.

Dear Society, please do not make us settle for less. I know that if I do, I will be unhappy; I will have to endure my marriage instead of enjoying it. How does one endure life for the rest of one's life? While I am unmarried, I have a great life, I have health, I have a great job, I am at peace, I am happy and I am safe. Does that count? Due to pressure, the single woman may get desperate and the result - she dresses up and carries herself just the way men like it. They, of course, start to approach her, and she says what she thinks they want to hear.

If she is fortunate, they like her, or at least one does.

Then one thing leads to another and they set a date. More stuff happens, and then she gets married. And in no time there is trouble.

There is trouble because she can't keep up appearances for that long! If she is lucky, he might just be verbally and emotionally abusive towards her instead of getting physical. Better still, he might give her daily doses of the very silent treatment and not care for her the way he ought to. I ask, is it all worth it? Divorce is on the increase. Folks are running out of the marriages they ran into. I don't blame them. I blame the society. Our families. Our mothers. Please S.T.O.P. the pressure. We will get married someday... God willing.

In the meantime, please let us live!

Ok readers Naijagal is now more on Naijagal.net!! Lots of Gist so link up there!

CNN  correspondent Christian Purefoy visits some of Nigeria’s foremost couturiers for a first-hand look at their brand and business. Our darling Folarin Coker is featured on  this video.  She also happens to be one of my favorite designer.
Christian Purefoy also talks about how budding designers get inspired and how the booming movie, gossip and fashion magazine’s fuels this industry. Every one wants to look good in a country with over 140 million citizens. However, some of the prices from the top designers turn out to be too expensive for the regular individual.

From time to time I  am constantly researching sites to learn about saving and making money. Whether it is how to monetize my blog or simply to learn daily tips which include, fixing my blackberry with out paying out a fortune.

You would not believe what I found!

I found a really great site called THEDIGERATIMIND.

All I had to do was sign up for their daily emails and voila every day I receive a business or money saving tip. How credit or debit works, all that good stuff.

It does not hurt getting free finance and savings advice because we are all learning. Anyone who has stopped learning might as well say good bye then. Besides we all know knowledge is certainly power.

I am personally requesting that you Check out the site HERE FOR FREE and be sure to subscribe by placing your email in the text box and clicking on subscribe. It is worth it Trust me;

Odukoya, the founding pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, Lagos, wedded a South African, Simangele Zulu, at a subtly-elaborate ceremony that held at Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Tuesday.

This was against a backdrop of longstanding speculations that bordered on his decision to walk down the aisle again.

Amidst heightening anxiety, Odukoya had announced to an astounded congregation last Dec. 27 about his readiness to give marriage a second shot.

He kept the identity of the bride under wraps until Jan. 3 when she was formally introduced to the congregation, who welcomed her with a stimulating applause.

Before unmasking Zulu, there had been widespread talks that purportedly had it that Odukoya was in a relationship with a divorcee and mother of two, who incidentally is a columnist in one of the national dailies.

In her 30s, the path of Zulu, who is a United Kingdom-based music director, and that of Odukoya first crossed over a year ago during one of his many trips overseas.

The wedding, held under tight security, was graced by prominent men of God, including the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

Pastor Bimbo, as she was affectionately addressed, lost her life in the ill-fated Sosoliso airliner that crashed at the Port Harcourt International Airport on Dec. 10, 2005.

A writer, popular televangelist, highly-sought conference speaker, youth mentor and marriage counsellor, she was one of several individuals chosen by Samsung to represent Nigeria in carrying the Torch for the 2004 Olympic Games.

At the time of her death, she was the associate senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church and the president of Discovery for Women.

She was the host of Single and Married, a TV programme broadcast locally and internationally that dealt with practical issues people face in marriages and relationships guided with biblical principles.

The couple, who were married for over two decades, had three children – Toluwani, Jimi and Tobi.

What a beautiful and blessed couple they make! Wouldn't you say?

Totally handsome Super Eagles’ defender Joseph Yobo recently got hitched to the stunningly beautiful former Miss Nigeria, Adaeze Igwe at the Evangelical Bible Out reach Ministries International (EBOMI) prayer city in Jos.

The nuptials was witnessed by the Governor of Jos Jonah Jang and a host of other diginatiries. Both Adaeze are recently became born again christians after supposedly meeting with the EBOMI prayer city prophet, Isah El Buba.

According to Prophet Isah El Buba, the solemnization of the wedding became necessary as the duo have dropped their past mistakes and embraced God, urging them to always put God first in all their endeavours .

Prophet Buba said God ordained marriage and as such whoever found a wife has found a good thing in the sight of the lord.

Quite interesting wouldn't you say? Kudos to the new bride and baby on the way. What I would call a double blessing! What do you say?

This is a personal plea to you my dear readers. Please support the relief effort in Haiti. A friend of mine from Haiti cannot find her family. This really breaks my heart.

There are people who do not have food to eat. Be grateful for what you have. Please share some. It does not cost much, but it will go a long way. If you are based in the United States, the easiest way to donate to #Haiti earthquake relief: is to simply Text HAITI to 90999. You will receive a confirmation. Give generously if you can.

You can also help out by sending a Text HAITI TO 20222 OR TEXT YELE TO 501501

Your donation would mean a lot to the people and you will be blessed. Now if you would excuse me I have some volunteer work to do. Stay Blessed.
