WHY MAYD LEFT PSQUARE THE TRUE STORY!

why mayd left psquareThere has certainly been a lot of speculation as to why MAYD left PSQUARE. Some have argued that it was simply the case where by psquare did not want MAYD to take over the spotlight. Others have suggested the reason why MAYD left psquare was simply because he wanted too much money from the Okoye brothers.

Well it seems as though the truth at least from the side of the Okoyes as to why mayd left Psquare has finally come out.

Psquare boss and big brother Jude Okoye in an interview with hip hop TV gave this as a reason why Mayd was dropped from the label and I quote

"we sign in artistes as our way of giving back to the society, and by the time they become known, we let them be. However when May D came in, he wanted more than that, he wanted to be Psquare, a name that we have struggled to be build for years"

Take a look at the video clip below and you may then judge for your self as to why mayd left psquare.

Thats not all, the Psquare Mayd saga may have hit a whole new low when it was alleged that Mayd was turned back from performing in Calabar this last holiday with Akon and Psquare. That might shed some light as to the reason why Mayd left Psquare. Here is a video of the hit song "Chop my money" being performed below by just Akon and Psquare. Crazily, the most exciting part of the song was conspicously dropped from the performance and we all know why! It just so happened to be MAYD'S part of the song. Hmm one wonders right?

Here is the video of that performance.

Well we can't just let the weekend go by without showing you where fans are being shortchanged thanks to MAYD PSQUARE beef.

To Psquare and Mayd, we say this in all honesty; at the very least perform the song together. You do not have to be on the same record label. It is better for your fans and perhaps will also increase your concert revenue! Think about it!
