WOW! House Passes Health-Care Reform Bill in Historic Vote!

OH WHAT A NIGHT!
According to the wall street journal "The bill passed by a 220-215 margin and garnered the unexpected backing of one Republican, Rep. Anh "Joseph" Cao of Louisiana. Thirty-nine Democrats voted against the measure

The vote was too close to call heading into Saturday's day-long debate that stretched late into the evening. House leaders made a surprise last-minute concession that blocks abortion from the new government insurance plan in order to win over wavering Democrats.

The vote was a major victory for President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.), and moved them toward a goal that has eluded presidents for decades. Mr. Obama came to the Capitol on Saturday morning and assured Democrats they would remember the vote as their finest moment in politics should he sign it into law. "Opportunities like this come around maybe once in a generation," he said."

So the health care bill in the US finally passed amazing!

Who would expect that? I'm sure without blocking the abortion to be paid by the state insurance, the bill wouldn't have passed.

But still, only 5 votes that sent it to the next round - that isn't good enough. It just shows how the country is divided.

Good luck to you all,
